Gathering educates veterans on how they can continue civic engagement
(Boise, Idaho) – Today, Vet the Vote, a national campaign to recruit veterans and military family members to be the next generation of poll workers, held a poll worker recruitment and kick-off event in partnership with Mission43 and Idaho Secretary of State Phil McGrane. The event brought together active military members, veterans and their families as well as the Ada County Clerk’s Office to inform veterans and their families on how they can serve as poll workers in upcoming elections.

Idaho’s veterans and military members have shown immense dedication to our nation, and they have the skills to make a significant impact at home as well,” said Secretary of State Phil McGrane. “By serving as poll workers, they can help safeguard the integrity of the voting process.”
